Connecting trains within the European Sleeper booking engine are made possible through our partnership with Choo-Choo, a specialist in international train connections and cross-border ticket sales.

Through a smart integration between European Sleeper and Choo-Choo, we can offer carefully selected rail connections beyond the European Sleeper network, making it easier to reach more destinations across Europe by train. 

For all connecting train journeys, Choo-Choo provides customer support before, during and after your journey. 

This partnership allows European Sleeper travellers to enjoy a simple booking experience while benefiting from Choo-Choo’s expertise in international rail ticketing and customer service. 

For questions about connecting train tickets, changes, cancellations or operator-specific issues related to the connecting train segment, Choo-Choo customer service will be available to assist you after your booking.

• How is my transfer time calculated?
  We calculate a reliable transfer time between your arriving and departing train. The suggested connection is designed to provide sufficient time to change trains under normal operating conditions.  
  
  
• Why can I buy a connecting train ticket through European Sleeper?
  The connecting train tickets within the European Sleeper booking engine are a service that makes it easier to reach destinations that are just one transfer away from the European Sleeper network. Instead of arranging connecting train tickets yourself, we help you find suitable connections that fit your European Sleeper journey.
  
  
• Are my connections guaranteed?
  No. The connecting trains and European Sleeper services are booked on separate tickets. While we only offer connections with carefully calculated transfer times, connections between different operators are not guaranteed and travellers remain responsible for making their onward connection. If a delay causes you to miss a connection, replacement transport or alternative tickets are not automatically provided. Our booking partner Choo-Choo can help you find alternative travel options, but additional tickets may need to be purchased depending on the conditions of the railway operators involved. 
  We recommend reviewing the conditions of the operators involved before travelling.
  
  
• Which terms and conditions apply to journeys with a connecting train?
  Connecting train journeys can include services operated by multiple rail companies. 
  The terms, passenger rights and compensation schemes applicable to each segment of your journey are determined by the operating railway company.

• What happens if my connecting train is delayed before departure?
  If you have not yet started your journey, you may be able to take another train or modify your ticket directly with the connecting train operator, depending on the ticket conditions. For Eurostar journeys, please check the options available through Eurostar’s Manage Your Booking service on eurostar.com/customer-dashboard/en/get-booking. You can also contact our booking partner Choo-Choo. They can assist you in finding an alternative. New tickets may need to be purchased, depending on the fare conditions of each railway operator, as connections between operators are not guaranteed.
  
  
• What happens if my connecting train is delayed during my journey?
  Europeans Sleeper does not wait for passengers on a delayed connecting train. If a delay causes you to miss your European Sleeper departure, please contact our booking partner Choo-Choo. They will assist you in finding an alternative. New tickets may need to be purchased, depending on the fare conditions of each railway operator, as connections between operators are not guaranteed. 
  Passenger rights and rebooking options depend on the operators involved and the type of ticket purchased.
  
  
• What happens if European Sleeper is delayed?
  If European Sleeper arrives later than planned and causes you to miss an onward connection with a connecting train, you may be able to take another train or modify your ticket directly with the connecting train operator, depending on the ticket conditions. • Who will inform me if one of my trains is delayed?
  European Sleeper will provide updates regarding your European Sleeper journey.
  Choo-Choo will provide updates regarding your connecting train where applicable.
  We also recommend checking the railway operator's website or app for the latest travel information.
  
  
• How do I cancel my booking?
  Because the tickets are issued separately, they must also be cancelled separately. 
  European Sleeper tickets can be managed and cancelled via My Booking: booking.europeansleeper.eu/en/my-booking. Connecting train tickets can be cancelled or changed through our booking partner Choo-Choo, subject to the fare conditions of the ticket purchased via the Choo-Choo cancellation form. Choo-choo will contact you and refund when applicable.
