Accessibility

Please note that at the moment, European Sleeper trains do not have full facilities for persons with reduced mobility. We are working hard to make this possible in the future.

However, foldable wheelchairs can be carried as luggage. Please contact customer service at service@europeansleeper.eu to pass this on. Please note that moving on the train with a wheelchair is not possible.

For travel with another aid, please contact us by sending an email to service@europeansleeper.eu. It is not possible to travel with mobility scooter or a tricycle.

Travelling with an assistance dog is allowed. However, you must book a private compartment. For a free upgrade to a private compartment, email service@europeansleeper.eu.

Do you want to travel with a companion? Please email service@europeansleeper.eu for a special rate for your companion.

Assistance

Train staff offer assistance on the train whenever possible. Please let us know your need for assistance at least 2 days before departure by sending an e-mail to service@europeansleeper.eu.

If you need assistance at the station, please submit your request in good time to NMBS for Belgium (www.belgiantrain.be/nl/travel-info/prepare-for-your-journey/assistance-reduced-mobility), NS reisassistentie for the Netherlands (www.ns.nl/reisinformatie/reizen-met-een-beperking/ns-reisassistentie.html), DB Mobilitätsservice-Zentrale for Germany (www.bahn.de/service/individuelle-reise/barrierefrei) or CD for the Czech Republic (www.cd.cz/cestovani-zdravotne-hendikepovanych/default.htm).

On the train not every stop will be announced to guarantee passengers a good night's sleep. However, the steward on the train can give you a timely personal warning as your exit station approaches. Before you sleep, please inform the steward of your request. You can also email us at service@europeansleeper.eu no later than 2 days before departure and we'll pass on the request in advance.
